Description
Opportunities for socially sensitive upgrading and retraining for the green transition of the TCLF industry
The challenge
The Textiles, Clothing, Leather, and Footwear (TCLF) sector is at a critical crossroads: a lack of digital and green skills, an ageing workforce, low rates of women in leadership positions, and the need for a rapid transition to sustainability. At the same time, the employability of vulnerable groups remains uncertain. |
The solution we designed
GREEN-LIFT brings together public bodies, universities, VET providers, and SMEs of the TCLF sector to upgrade the green skills of workers and unemployed people. It focuses on women, NEETs and workers in transition, through practical training, counseling, and cross-sectoral cooperation to support their sustainable employment in the sector.
