The challenge
The vocational education sector in Europe faces a double challenge: low environmental awareness and limited opportunities for practical application of the circular economy, especially through activities such as upcycling. |
The solution we designed
The EUCYCLE project is designing a fresh educational approach, using upcycling as a key learning tool. It creates a European network of vocational education and training providers, professionals, and learners who work together to acquire circular economy skills through creative and sustainable practices.
Results & Impact
- Upcycling Educational Toolkit: A comprehensive guide with activities for using upcycling in vocational education.
- Educational Workshops in 4 countries: Students and teachers collaborate on local projects.
- Platform for sharing good practices: Connecting professionals and educational institutions for collaborations in upcycling.
