As part of the YES WE CAN project, designed to empower young people by promoting social entrepreneurship, the KAINOTOMIA Lifelong Learning Center organized the event “Young People & Social Entrepreneurship: The Idea Starts With You” on Tuesday, April 29, 2025. During the event, participants had the opportunity to gain an in-depth understanding of the concept of social entrepreneurship, be inspired by examples of young people who are changing the world through socially valuable actions, and recognize the power of collaboration and local participation. The results of the project were also presented, together with stories that encourage action and change.

The Environmental Handbook on Social Entrepreneurship was created as part of the European project Youth in Entrepreneurship: Socially We Change through Abundant Notions (YES WE CAN). During the project, the importance of social entrepreneurship and its potential to make the world a better place were explored. It was found that social entrepreneurship can address a wide range of challenges such as waste management, unemployment, climate change, and inequality.

The Handbook of Best Practices in Social Entrepreneurship was created as part of the European project Youth in Entrepreneurship: Socially We Change through Abundant Notions (YES WE CAN). By studying best practices from different countries, we discovered that successful social enterprises have a clear purpose, strong leadership, and a passion for making a difference.

On December 12, 2024, the European project YES WE CAN organized an online seminar attended by youth workers, researchers, and social entrepreneurship experts from across Europe. The seminar, organized by COSI, aimed to inspire, inform, and connect young people and stakeholders around the topic of social and green entrepreneurship, with a particular focus on empowering people with fewer opportunities.
