Returns & Cancellations Policy

GENERAL TERMS OF RETURNS AND CANCELLATIONS POLICY  

The Lifelong Learning Center Κainotomia provides a variety of seminars and educational programs, making every effort to ensure their proper execution and a clear understanding of the financial transactions regarding the Services provided.

Cancellation of a training program due to force majeure or due to extraordinary circumstances within the control of the Lifelong Learning Center Kainotomia

1. The organizers reserve the right to change the date of each training program, informing the teachers by phone and email. In this case, the trainees are entitled to attend the training program on the new days if they wish, or to request a refund if the new date/condition does not suit them.
2. The organizers also reserve the right to change the program of a training program or to cancel it.
3. In the event of cancellation of the seminar, trainees will be informed by phone and email. In the event of a final cancellation of a program or inability to attend it due to a technical problem, the L.L.C. Kainotomia will refund the trainees the price it received.
4. In the event of a strike, government bans, bad weather conditions and generally any event beyond the reasonable control of the L.L.C. Kainotomia, which causes an obstacle to the execution of part or all of the training program, the organizers reserve the right to change the date and time of its conduct. In this case, the tuition fees are not refunded, but are valid as they are for future training.

Withdrawal or cancellation due to the desire of the trainee 

1. The user who may wish to cancel his participation in a training program must inform us in writing as soon as possible, by sending his request to our email addressinfo@kainotomia.com.gr.
2. If a trainee wishes to withdraw from a certain training program, a refund is provided, as long as the request for withdrawal is submitted up to 8 days before the start of the program.
3. For cancellation of participation in the program by the trainee 7 days before the date of the program, a refund of 70% of the amount paid will be made.
4. For cancellation of participation in the seminar by the trainee 3 days before the date of the program, 50% of the amount paid will be refunded.
5. In the event that the trainee wishes to withdraw/cancel his participation, as long as it is proven that he has not proceeded to use the service in question, a refund is provided. However, if there is a withdrawal, after the activation of the password on the educational platform, no refund is provided by L.L.C. Kainotomia.

At the end of the above-mentioned period of time or at the start of the program, no refund is provided on the part of L.L.C. Kainotomia.

Refunds

Refunds, where applicable in accordance with the above terms, for all services provided by L.L.C. Kainotomia, are processed within 10 business days after we receive your request for cancellation (with the necessary supporting documents as will be communicated to you in writing when the request is submitted).

The refund will be made:

1. In case of a charge to your credit card,  L.L.C. Kainotomia after having collected the price from the bank, will return the money to the card (a partial refund is excluded which will be made by depositing into a bank account)
2. In all other cases of payment (bank, cash, etc.) the refund will be made through a bank account that you indicate to us.

In addition to the above general conditions, some programs may have a different tuition policy depending on the particularities that this may have. The more specific terms are listed in the detailed information of each program.

Our website has incorporated the most up-to-date and well-established security policies regarding financial transactions and users’ personal data and ensures the uninterrupted availability of the services provided.

All transactions you make through our website are governed by International and European law, which regulates issues related to electronic commerce, as well as by the Consumer Protection Law (Law 2251/1994), which regulates issues related to distance selling.
