The first Go2Grove project newsletter is now available, presenting in detail the vision, objectives, and first steps of a European initiative with a strong social and professional impact.

Go2Grove is implemented within the framework of Erasmus+ KA220-VET and aims to educate and integrate Ukrainian refugees through their involvement in olive cultivation and olive oil production, while addressing the labor shortage in the agri-food sector in Mediterranean EU countries.

In the 1st Newsletter, you will find:

  • A presentation of the project and its strategic objectives, such as the development of an innovative vocational education and training program, support for VET trainers, and the creation of a digital platform with self-assessment tools.
  • Information about the transnational meeting of partners in Badajoz (Spain), where the progress of the project and the planning of future actions were discussed.
  • Detailed overview of the implementation stage, with an emphasis on the organization of focus groups with the participation of agricultural organizations and migrant organizations, which will contribute significantly to the development of the Go2Grove digital handbook.

The1st Newsletter marks the start of a project that links vocational training with social inclusion and sustainable rural development.
