Priority Outputs

Identification and selection of best practices in the field of sports, arts, civic education, youth work and cross-cultural mediation for the early prevention of marginalization and violent extremism of young people, and development of blended best practices toolkit with the combination of the two methodologies. The best practices from the above fields will be combined with the youth work, formal and non-formal education methodology in order to maximize their impact and create an innovative cross-sectoral approach to outreach and include young people at risk of marginalization, radicalization. The PRIORITY toolkit is addressed to youth workers, trainers, educators, teachers, municipal youth workers, youth leaders, NGO members as well as other civil society actors that work with youth. The aim of the toolkit is to:
• provide knowledge on the themes of marginalization and radicalization of young people with special focus on the newly arrived migrants and refugees (causes, effects, profiles of perpetrators etc.
• provide educators with innovative cross sectoral best practices in the field of youth work, sports, arts, cultural mediation, civic education, self-development and formal/non-formal education) and will be useful for educators working with young people who have are at risk of becoming marginalised and are vulnerable to radicalisation at early prevention level.

PRIORITY Hubs will be local spaces, that aim to encourage young disadvantaged people from different social and cultural backgrounds to interact with and learn from each other as well as exchange their experiences and visions. By supporting young people with fewer opportunities (and especially young people of disadvantage groups such as of migrant background newly migrants and/or refugees) in expressing their ideas, thoughts and concerns through activities that focus on their inclusion, integration and development in order to become active members of more inclusive, open, safer and stronger communities, the young people will feel safer and stronger. The PRIORITY Hubs are created for the community, and especially the young people in order to have the opportunity to join cultural and creative activities, art workshops, sports, street art but also civic education and self-development workshops. The PRIORITY Hubs should foster inclusion and should offer learning and fun activities which will be designed by young people and will address young people.

The “HOW TO PRIORITISE” e-book will build upon the results of the three PRIORITY workshops (capacity building activities) and will include educational material, methods, activities that explain how to build, run and sustain a PRIORITY hub for future local synergies that would like to follow such an initiative. It will also contain testimonials from the participants who took part in the event as well as list of additional resources that will address the topics of youth inclusion and participation with the use of innovative methods such as the PRIORITY Toolkit etc.).

In order to reach a wider audience and transfer the results of the PRIORITY project on different levels – regional, national, EU and international – we intend to use the technology of E-learning Platform (E-COURSE) to design a PRIORITY E-COURSE that will address two different profiles of learners and will include two different training modules.
